FU Rubin, LI Liang, XU Cheng, XIE Guangming
Acta Scientiarum Naturalium Universitatis Pekinensis    2019, 55 (3): 405-410.   DOI: 10.13209/j.0479-8023.2019.025

The authors studied energy saving in fish school utilizing a bio-inspired robotic fish platform. Specifically, two robotic fish were fixed in the flow tank against the current with constant left-right distance and front-back distance; the body posture of the front robotic fish was controlled to generate dynamic fluid environments, which would affect the rear robotic fish. Based on reinforcement learning, a relationship was established between energy cost and the body posture of the robotic fish. According to this relationship, the body posture could be acquired which resulted in minimum energy cost for the rear robot. This information was further transferred to the locomotion controller of the robot to adjust its body posture to save most energy.

LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating for Daning pluton, dark inclusions and Chudong pluton yield the weighted mean 206Pb/238Pb ages of 441.1±3.0 Ma, 439.5±3.6 Ma and 423.5-434.2 Ma, respectively, revealing that Daning pluton and the dark inclusions were formed almost concurrently, while the Daning pluton was intruded by the Chudong pluton. In-situ zircon Lu-Hf isotopic analyses of Daning pluton, dark inclusions and Chudong pluton show same characteristics with negative εHf(t) values, plotted within the revolution areas of the 1440-1960 Ma old continental crust in the age vs. εHf(t) diagrams. The Hf isotopic characteristics indicate that the magmas could be derived from the partial melting of Early Proterozoic to Mesoproterozoic crust materials. The dark inclusions were produced by the fractional crystallization of parental magma. The Chudong pluton was the advanced stage product of the magma crystallization differentiation.

The geological characteristics and mineralization of the endogenetic rare earth elements (REE) deposits related with carbonatite-alkaline complexes are reviewed. The REE deposits mainly include primary magmatic and hydrothermal types. The former is relatively rare, and REE minerals crystallized from carbonatite magma. The REE minerals in hydrothermal deposits are intergrowth with calcite, fluorite, barite, quartz. They occur as ore veins intruding carbonatite-alkaline complexes and wall rocks, or as fracture or void filling fine-grained, polycrystalline aggregates overprinting earlier carbonatitic minerals. Previous researches showed that REE mineralization was controlled by the crystallization and accumulation of carbonate minerals during carbonatitc magma-hydrothermal processes. However, REE enrichment mechanism is still debate, i.e. liquid immiscibility of carbonate-silicate magmas, fractional crystallization of carbonate minerals from carbonatite magma, extraction of carbonatitic liquids, and hydrothermal alteration of carbonatites. Note carbonatites normally show light REE enrichment and mineralization, and absent heavy REE minerals. Therefore, high temperature and pressure experiments on REE partition coefficients between volatile-rich carbonate and alkaline silicate melts or fluids, and REE partition behavior between carbonate and co-precipitating minerals during carbonatite magma evolution, will be a key to reveal the REE mineralization mechanism.

Abstract628)            Save
A hybrid method of the equivalent microwave network technique and aggregated T-matrix algorithm is used to analyze the multiple scattering of parallel circular dielectric cylinders embedded by arbitrary conducting cylinders in this paper. A new formula is derived to relate the T-matrix of conducting cylinders with the impedance matrix of the moment method. The coupled utilization of the numerical method and analytical approach simplifies the analysis of interactions between parallel cylinders.

Abstract725)            Save
To study the influence of rough sea surface and a knife-edge on coast radar wave propagation, a reflection coefficient is introduced, which is suitable for rough sea surface, and substitute it into the propagation loss formula for rough sea surface and for a knife-edge, respectively. The results show that reflection from rough sea surface is an important factor in calculating propagation loss over rough sea and a knife-edge in the presence of rough sea surface.

Scattering of Multilayered Eccentric Cylinder with Multiple Cylinders inside: Microwave Equivalent Network Approach
ZHANG Yaojiang,GONG Zhonglin,XU Chenghe
Acta Scientiarum Naturalium Universitatis Pekinensis
Abstract656)            Save
Electromagnetic scattering from a multilayered eccentric dielectric circular cylinder with multiple cylinders inside is solved by an equivalent network formed by hybrid Aggregated T-matrix Method and Generalized Scattering Matrix approach. The T-matrix of multiple cylinders is obtained by Aggregated T-matrix Method and served as the reflection matrix of the network. Every layer-boundary is represented as a generalized S-parameter matrix in which first-kind Bessel functions and second-kind Hankel functions are used as the expansion modes and Addition Theorem of cylindrical harmonics is employed to connect the S-parameters together. The cylinder's RCS of TM and TE, as well as the near field distribution are presented.

To study the resonant characteristics of eccentric circular and concentric circular-elliptical ring microstrip antennas, the method, which is connected with the concentric ring microstrip antenna and based on the perturbation, is employed to calculate resonant wave numbers. Comparisons of calculations with reference for the fundamental mode are also presented, agreement is very good for small eccentricity.

Abstract601)            Save
The interaction of a λ/4 monopole antenna handset with a heterogeneous electromagnetic block human model is simulated by using finite-difference timedomain (FDTD) method. The human model is a cube of 0.655 cm, and the specific absorption rate(SAR) of the model in 7 different conditions is calculated at frequency 700 MHz. Several importantconclusions and proposal are given after analysing the calculated results and comparing them with the Hygienic Standard for Electromagnetic Radiation of China and USA.
